Check for Installed ODBC Drivers
To see what ODBC drivers are installed on your computer, follow these steps:
1In the Windows 95 operating environment, click the Start button.
2Select Control Panel from the Settings option.
3To find out what 32-bit ODBC drivers you have installed, double-click the 32-bit ODBC icon .
The Data Sources dialog box appears, listing the ODBC drivers you have installed on your computer. You should at least have the VIP Workshop Xbase driver that ships with VIP Workshop.
Note
nYou may have another 32-bit database application (besides VIP Workshop) installed on your computer, but you do not see its associated ODBC driver listed in the Data Sources dialog box here. This may be because it was not installed when you installed the application originally or the product may not have included an ODBC driver. You will need to install the ODBC driver from the application’s original install disks if you would like to access data or save a table in that particular data source. Contact the ODBC vendor for more information.
