, then double-click on the index you would like to delete; or choose Indexes from the Data menu, then Edit an Existing Index from the submenu. When you delete an index, the index is not actually removed from the Indexes drawer until you save the table.
1In table view, click on the Indexes drawer , then double-click on the index you would like to delete; or choose Indexes from the Data menu, then Edit an Existing Index from the submenu.
The Index Information dialog box appears.
2Click the Delete button.
A message appears asking you to confirm the deletion.
3Click the Yes button to delete or the No button to cancel.
Note
nWhen you delete an index, the change does not take place until you save the table.
